DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER
An infant school in the nottingham City area are seeking to appoint a deputy head teacher from September 2002. This is a full time permanent post. In addition to teaching a class of 17 year one children the deputy will be expected to:

  • Work with the head teacher in all aspects of management of the shcool.
  • Take a strong lead in further developing the KS1 and foundation curriculumn.
  • Be responsible for the management of assessment, reporting and recording procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the management of a core subject.
  • Take an active role with goveners and staff to further raise levels of achievement.
  • Co-ordinate special needs.
  • Act as mentor to NQT's

DERBYSHIRE

This primary school in Derby are seeking two infant teachers to start on 8 April. the first is for a maternity cover and will go until until 24 October. The second is for the summer term which finishes on 19 July.

The maternity cover is for a year one class of 27 pupils. The teacher will be expected to teach all subjects in the early years curriculumn.

The second post is for a recption class of 14 pupils. The teacher will need experience of the early years goals and foundation curriculumn.
